We Are Hiring: CNC Programmer / Setter

We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer and Setter for precision machining work in Hyderabad.

The candidate must be able to independently handle CNC programming, machine setting, tool selection, prove-out, inspection support, and production troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Prepare CNC programs for VMC/TURNMILL machines using CAM software or manual programming where required.

Set up CNC machines as per engineering drawings, process sheets, and job requirements.

Select suitable tools, holders, inserts, cutting parameters, and workholding methods.

Perform first-off prove-out and support inspection using Vernier, micrometer, bore gauge, height gauge, and other measuring instruments.

Read and understand engineering drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, surface finish requirements, and material specifications.

Troubleshoot machining issues such as chatter, tool wear, dimensional variation, poor surface finish, and cycle time problems.

Support operators during production and ensure parts are produced consistently within tolerance.

Maintain proper setup sheets, tool lists, program records, and revision control.

Work with quality and production teams to improve cycle time, reduce rejection, and maintain process stability.

Required Skills

Experience in VMC / HMC / TURNMILL.

Knowledge of Fanuc / Mitsubishi / Siemens controllers.

Good understanding of cutting tools, inserts, speeds,



feeds, fixtures, and workholding.

Ability to machine materials such as aluminium, EN steels, stainless steel, cast iron, and alloy steels.

Ability to read 2D engineering drawings and understand tolerances.

Knowledge of inspection instruments and first-piece approval process.

Experience in aerospace, hydraulics, automotive, die mould, or precision components preferred.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Mastercam / Siemens NX / SolidCAM / Fusion 360 / Delcam / PowerMill.

Experience in 4-axis or 5-axis machining.

Experience with AS9100 / aerospace documentation.

Experience in machining hydraulic pump parts, housings, manifolds, valve bodies, shafts, covers, and precision components.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma / BE Mechanical or equivalent practical experience.

Salary

Salary will be based on skill, experience, and machine trial performance and will be best in the industry

Higher salary can be considered for solid CAM programming, 4-axis/5-axis, and aerospace component experience.
