Role Purpose

Develop, test and support Sitecore components within an established architecture and delivery process: producing clean, well-tested code, resolving defects, and growing technical depth with guidance from senior engineers and technical leads.

Key Responsibilities

Development

- Build and enhance Sitecore components based on approved designs, standards and acceptance criteria.

- Translate user stories into working, readable and maintainable code.

- Implement fixes for defects identified in development, testing and production.

- Seek guidance on complex design decisions and escalate blockers promptly.

Quality & Testing

- Write unit tests and support integration and regression testing activities.

- Participate in code reviews and act on feedback constructively.

- Apply secure coding practices, input validation, error handling and logging.

Delivery & Support

- Deliver assigned tasks within agreed sprint or release commitments.

- Support deployments, smoke testing and post-release verification.

- Assist with incident investigation and provide clear updates on progress.

Collaboration & Growth

- Work closely with senior developers, leads, QA and business analysts.

- Participate in agile ceremonies, estimation and backlog refinement.

- Build depth in the Sitecore stack through structured learning and pairing.

- Design and build Sitecore solutions covering templates, components, content architecture and personalization.

- Optimize delivery performance through caching, indexing and publishing strategy.

- Support upgrades, multi-site governance and integration with marketing and analytics platforms.

Core Skills

Sitecore CMS/XP, templates, renderings, content architecture, personalization and .NET-based development.

Design & Architecture

Content and site architecture, component-driven design, headless/SXA patterns and multi-site governance.

Data & Integration

Content modelling, search indexing, media management, analytics data and API integration.

Platform & DevOps

Sitecore deployment topologies, CI/CD, environment promotion, upgrades and cloud hosting.

Quality & Operations

Functional and regression testing, performance and caching optimization, security and upgrade validation.

Experience & Qualifications

- 5+ years of hands-on Sitecore development experience.

- Experience delivering features through full development and testing cycles.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or IT, or equivalent experience.

- Relevant platform certifications advantageous, not mandatory.
