About Role -

We are looking for a skilled Node.js Backend Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in building scalable, high-performance backend systems using Node.js and NestJS, along with solid database and microservices knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and NestJS
- Work with MongoDB and MySQL databases for efficient data storage, retrieval, and optimization
- Implement caching strategies using Redis to improve application performance
- Design and develop scalable, loosely-coupled services based on Microservices Architecture
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using JavaScript and TypeScript
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in a timely manner
- Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards
- Manage version control and collaborate using GitHub
- Test and validate APIs using Postman
- Track tasks, bugs, and sprints using Jira
- Ensure application security, scalability, and performance best practices are followed

Required Skills

- 2+ years of skilled experience as a Backend Developer
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and NestJS framework




- Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB (NoSQL) and MySQL (SQL) databases
- Practical knowledge of Redis for caching and session management
- Strong understanding of Microservices Architecture and inter-service communication
- Experience with RESTful API design and development
- Familiarity with authentication/authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Additional / Positive to Have Skills

- Experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration
- Hands-on experience with Postman for API testing and documentation
- Familiarity with Jira for agile project and sprint management
- Understanding of Docker/containerization (a plus)
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (a plus)
- Understanding of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) (a plus)

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
