Are you a creative, energetic wordsmith looking to kick-start your career in content strategy and copywriting Join Decathlon Sports India for an intensive, Graduation Project as a Packaging Design Intern. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your writing skills and passion for storytelling in a quick-paced, real-world retail and digital environment.

Mission

PACKAGING DESIGN PROJECT

Explore: Collaborate with the Campus Team to understand the Global Decathlon Pack Direction.+ Understand different internal sports packaging direction.+ Understand Cricket products, list and analyse each NOP.+ Work with designers, leaders, product managers, merchandisers, and engineers to understand the requirement for packaging, to ensure alignment to Cricket's sport direction, real-time customer & store experiences, logistics, pricing etc.

Create: Define packaging guidelines - experience, layout, fonts, dimensions, CMF, graphical elements; for all Cricket NOPs & player intensities (Beginner to Advanced).+ Align with Cricket Pack direction with Decathlon Global Pack.+ Ensure simple design assets, for easy application in our absence.+ Create comprehensive mood boards, sketches, digital explorations, 3D or real-size concept mockups to inspire the team.+ Present and validate the direction with the team.

Make: Diffuse the guidelines to bring your vision to life (real-time application).+ Present ideas & concepts to the team, diffuse the finalised direction onto a live project, and prepare production-ready tech packs and design files.

KEY DELIVERABLES

Must: 1 x Packaging Guidebook for Cricket (Final Version).

Bonus:



Product Packaging Diffusion on 1 or more NOPs. Product Graphics, on-going creatives or presentations, in case required.

You are a Cricket or Sports Enthusiast who loves storytelling through design!

- You are an energetic personality.
- You are obsessed with brands, and experiences that they create through packaging.
- You hang out with Pinterest, Instagram, for your daily dose of inspiration.
- You have a sharp eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics. You analyse colour theory, typography, packaging experiences and critique graphics 24x7.
- You aren't just an idea person. You are also a master planner.
- You are a self-motivated, organised go-getter who can work independently to meet tight deadlines, and comfortably collaborate with anyone.
- You love getting your hands dirty, doodle ideas, build concept mocks, use softwares to visualise ideas in 3D.

Academically You Are

- Currently pursuing or have completed B.Des / M.Des in Graphic / Communication.
- You are from a reputed design college - IIT, NID or MIT
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro and familiar with 3D design tools (Blender, Rhino, or similar).
- Strong understanding of fundamental design principles, branding, packaging, CMF, graphics, and typography.

Candidates must submit a portfolio showcasing graphic design projects specifically linked to Packaging to be considered.
