Job Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Economics lessons aligned with the IB curriculum and learning objectives.
- Teach Economics concepts using real-world examples, current economic issues, case studies, and data analysis.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching resources, assessments, assignments, and classroom activities.
- Prepare students for IB assessments and examinations while developing strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Encourage students to analyze economic data, interpret graphs, evaluate policies, and develop well-supported arguments.
- Assess and monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Support students with Internal Assessments (IA), Extended Essay (EE), and other IB-related academic requirements where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress with parents and school management.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Economics or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed.



or equivalent teaching qualification preferred/required as per school requirements.
- Prior experience teaching IB Economics is preferred.
- Robust knowledge of IB teaching methodologies and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use technology and digital resources effectively in teaching.
- Candidates with experience teaching IB DP Economics will be preferred.
