Mumbai

Location: Mumbai (Andheri West) Employment type: Full time Reports to: Founder Team: 1 intern will report to this role Start date: October 1, 2026 Compensation: ₹25,000/month for the first 3 months, reviewed alongside the promotion decision below

About Atleisure

Atleisure by Roology is the newest label from Roology, a Mumbai-based D2C womenswear brand. Atleisure is built around ease, not hustle — elevated comfort wear for women who are done performing productivity 24/7. We're early-stage, fast-moving, and building the brand and the business at the same time — which means this role won't look like a job description for very long. It'll evolve as fast as you do.

About the role

We're hiring a generalist who wants to grow into a true Business Manager role — someone who can sit across operations, marketing, and finance in these early months, acting as the connective tissue between the founder, our vendors, our PR/social team, and everyone else keeping Atleisure running day to day. You'll also have an intern working under you from day one — so alongside learning the business, you'll be getting your first experience directing someone else's work.

This is deliberately a growth-track role: you'll start hands-on across all three functions, learning the business from the inside out. Based on performance, you'll be formally reviewed for promotion to Business Manager within 3 months — with a compensation review at the same time — taking on greater ownership and ambiguity as you prove you can run with it.

If you're early in your career and the idea of learning ops, marketing, and finance simultaneously at a founder's side — rather than being boxed into one narrow function — genuinely excites you, this is built for you.

What you'll do

Operations

- Coordinate day-to-day operations — vendor follow-ups, order fulfillment tracking, inventory coordination
- Handle customer queries and support — order status, pre- and post-sales questions, and escalations
- Direct and check in on the intern's work, making sure their output actually moves things forward
- Act as the point of contact between the founder and external teams (PR, vendors, freelancers), making sure nothing falls through the cracks
- Document processes as you learn them, so the business runs on systems, not on memory

Marketing

- Own the weekly content/posting calendar in coordination with our social/PR team, keeping Instagram active and on-schedule
- Track campaign and content performance, flag what's working and what isn't
- Support influencer and PR outreach coordination

Finance

- Track expenses, vendor payments, and basic budget-vs-actuals
- Support the founder in monthly financial reviews and reporting
- Flag discrepancies or gaps early, rather than after they've become a problem

Mediator, across all of it

- Translate the founder's priorities into action across teams, and surface what each team needs back up to the founder
- Keep multiple moving parts (marketing, ops, finance, external vendors) talking to each other instead of operating in silos

What we're looking for

Skills

- Strong written and verbal communication — you'll be the go-between for multiple people and functions,

and customer-facing at times
- Comfortable with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) for tracking and reporting
- Organized, detail-oriented, able to juggle several open threads without dropping any
- Basic familiarity with Instagram/social platforms and e-commerce (Shopify) is a plus, not a requirement

Attitude

- Genuinely seeks to learn — asks questions, follows up, doesn't wait to be told twice
- Comfortable with ambiguity and a startup pace where the job description shifts as the business does
- Takes ownership rather than waiting for instructions on everything, and comfortable owning an intern's output as well as your own
- Resilient — early-stage brands have setbacks and false starts, and we need someone who treats that as normal, not alarming

Knowledge / background

- No prior experience in a specific function (ops, marketing, or finance) is required — full training will be provided
- Any prior exposure to D2C/e-commerce, retail, or a startup environment is a bonus, not a must
- Freshers and early-career candidates (0–2 years) are welcome to apply

Why join
- Direct mentorship from the founder, with real exposure to how a D2C brand is actually built and run
- Early people-management experience — you'll have an intern supporting you from day one
- A defined growth path — a formal shot at the Business Manager title (and a compensation review) within your first 3 months, not a vague maybe someday
- The chance to shape a young brand's systems from the ground up, rather than inheriting someone else's playbook
- Part of the Roology family — access to the learning, processes, and network of an already-running sister brand
