Role Overview

We are looking for a senior Oracle Developer with 5+ years of experience in financial domain applications to support enhancement, new feature development, and operational stability of a Financial Instruments Analytics and Reporting platform. The role spans application enhancement, data warehouse/ETL development, and reporting, with prior experience in Oracle, Dremio, and reporting tools required. The candidate supports both product feature delivery and Run-the-Business operational stability — ensuring uninterrupted reporting, data availability, and platform reliability.

Scope of Work

- Work with subject matter experts to understand user requirements and current processes using robust analytical skills.

- Design systems and processes that meet user requirements; develop efficient, error-free, maintainable code conforming to coding standards.

- Provide testing routines including unit and regression testing, error handling, and error logging as part of delivered processes.

- Provide detailed project, program, and system documentation and specifications understandable by other technical staff.

- Develop systems independently and in a team environment; contribute to overall on-time delivery.

- Research problems reported by users; recommend and implement fixes and solutions.

- Coordinate with database, web,



reporting, and cloud admin teams to ensure smooth deployment across environments and maintain reliability, availability, and performance.

- Collaborate with other technical resources in a diverse environment across the full SDLC — Analysis, Design, Programming, Testing, Implementation, and Maintenance.

Skills & Experience Required

- 5+ years of experience in Oracle development, preferably in the financial domain.

- Advanced expertise in Oracle tools and technologies — Oracle 19c, SQL, PL/SQL, PL/SQL Standard Packages, SQL Loader, and optimization.

- Experience in development of Data Warehouse, Operational Data Store, and ETL solutions.

- Proficiency in reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

- Knowledge of shell scripting and Python scripting.

- Knowledge of Data Lake query engines such as Dremio is a plus.

- Experience with Agile development methodology.

- Proven and demonstrated experience across the full SDLC — Analysis, Design, Programming, Testing, Implementation, and Maintenance.

- Ability to communicate with users and provide quality production support.

- Proven conceptual, analytical, and judgement skills with excellent oral and written communication skills.
