About the Role

We’re looking for highly accurate data entry and data validation professionals to contribute to a project focused on evaluating and improving AI systems.

You’ll create realistic data-entry and validation scenarios involving complex datasets, identify and document errors, define correct outcomes, and develop detailed evaluation criteria. The work emphasizes accuracy, consistency, error detection, and data integrity in environments where mistakes can have significant operational or compliance consequences.

No prior AI experience is required. Your data accuracy, validation expertise, attention to detail, and disciplined approach to structured workflows are the core qualifications.

What You’ll Do

- Design realistic data-entry and data-validation evaluation tasks for AI systems.

- Build and curate complex datasets using formats such as CSV files, PDFs, spreadsheets, and technical documents.

- Introduce realistic data-quality issues, including malformed records, missing information, inconsistent formats, truncation, and other discrepancies.

- Define the correct final state for each task, including the errors that must be identified and the required reconciliation steps.

- Develop detailed evaluation rubrics containing 35+ criteria covering accuracy, completeness, error detection, and reconciliation.

- Ensure tasks reflect the standards and complexity of regulated or audit-sensitive data environments.





- Analyze data across different file types and identify inconsistencies that may not be immediately apparent.

- Document task requirements, error conditions, expected outcomes, and validation criteria clearly.

- Collaborate asynchronously with project stakeholders to review, refine, and improve evaluation materials.

- Apply disciplined quality-control practices throughout the task creation and review process.

Requirements

- Qualified experience in data entry, data validation, quality assurance, or a closely related field.

- Experience working with high-accuracy or data-integrity-sensitive processes.

- Strong ability to identify data inconsistencies, missing information, formatting issues, and silent truncations.

- Experience working across multiple file formats, including spreadsheets, CSVs, PDFs, and structured documents.

- Strong written English and ability to document complex requirements clearly.

- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

- Highly disciplined, process-oriented approach to data handling and validation.

- Ability to define and document measurable quality standards and expected outcomes.

- Ability to work independently and communicate proactively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in regulated or audit-sensitive environments such as:

- Healthcare claims

- Financial back-office operations





- Legal operations

- Compliance-focused data processing

- Other high-integrity data environments

- Experience tracking and documenting error rates, accuracy metrics, or quality outcomes.

- Experience performing data reconciliation across multiple sources or formats.

- Experience identifying subtle or systematic data-quality problems.

- Experience working on projects where accuracy, compliance, or data integrity has significant operational consequences.

- Experience creating structured assessments, grading rubrics, or quality-control frameworks.

- Experience with AI evaluation or AI training projects is helpful but not required.

Compensation & Engagement

- Hourly rate equivalent: $20–$35/hour.

- 40-hour annual compensation equivalent: $41,600–$72,800/year.

- Compensation is output-based and paid per task that meets project specifications.

- Task completion time may vary depending on experience and workflow.

- Minimum weekly submission requirements apply.

- Independent contractor engagement.

- Remote and asynchronous.

- Selected experts should be prepared to begin their first tasks within 24–48 hours of completing onboarding.
