Job Summary

We are looking for a Career Counsellor who can guide working professionals and prospective learners in identifying the right educational programs based on their career goals, professional experience, and upskilling requirements.

The role involves understanding learner aspirations, providing personalized career and academic guidance, explaining suitable online degree and certification programs, addressing queries, and supporting learners throughout the admission journey.

Key Responsibilities

- Connect with prospective learners through calls, emails, and other communication channels to understand their career goals, educational background, and qualified aspirations.
- Conduct career and academic counselling to recommend suitable online degree and certification programs.
- Understand the learner's requirements and suggest programs aligned with their career progression, upskilling, and professional development goals.
- Explain program structure, eligibility, duration, learning methodology, university details, and potential career pathways.
- Counsel learners on available academic options and help them make informed education and career decisions.
- Handle learner queries and objections with accurate, relevant, and empathetic guidance.
- Follow up with prospective learners and support them from initial counselling through the enrolment/registration process.
- Maintain accurate records of learner interactions, counselling discussions, follow-ups, and application status in the CRM.




- Build strong relationships with prospective learners through effective communication and consultative counselling.
- Stay updated on online education trends, university programs, industry requirements, and career opportunities.
- Work towards assigned counselling, conversion, and enrolment objectives while maintaining a learner-centric approach.

Key Performance Indicators

- Minimum 200 unique calls/dials per day.
- Minimum 2 hours of talk time per day.
- Achieve 812 admissions per month for UG/PG online degree programs.
- Contribute towards monthly enrolment and revenue objectives through effective counselling and follow-up.

Eligibility & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in Career Counselling, Academic Counselling, Student Advisory, Education Counselling, or Online Higher Education.
- Candidates with experience in online degree counselling will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of career guidance, education programs, and learner requirements.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools such as LSQ, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, counselling, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a target-oriented and fast-paced environment.
