Role & responsibilities

Absolutely. This is essentially a Technical Services + Customer Troubleshooting + Adhesive Application role for the flexible packaging industry, with a solid shop-floor/customer-facing component.

You are looking for someone who can go to a customer's factory, understand why the adhesive/lamination process is not working properly, identify the root cause, fix it, and ensure the customer is satisfied.

The person should be technically strong in:

Solvent-Based (SB) adhesives

Solventless/Solvent-Free (SL/SF) adhesives

Flexible packaging lamination processes

Different packaging films/substrates such as PET, BOPP, PE, CPP, metallized films, foil, etc.

Lamination machines and shop-floor troubleshooting

RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and CAPA

Product trials and new product validation

Customer complaint resolution

Working with R&D;, Sales, Production and customers

Understanding competitor products and market requirements

In one sentence:

"We need an adhesive technical expert who can independently troubleshoot lamination problems at customer sites and work with Sales/R&D; to retain customers and develop new business."
