- Maintain accurate records of all NDT equipment, instruments, tools, accessories and consumables.
- Receive, inspect and record incoming equipment and materials.
- Issue NDT equipment and tools to technicians, trainers and project team as required.
- Maintain proper records of equipment issue, return, transfer and availability.
- Ensure all equipment is stored safely and systematically to prevent damage or loss.
- Regularly check the physical condition of equipment and report any damage, malfunction or missing items.
- Track equipment calibration status, calibration due dates and service requirements.
- Maintain records of calibration certificates and related documents.
- Monitor stock levels and prepare requests for replenishment of consumables and frequently used items.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and inventory reconciliation.
- Maintain proper documentation for equipment movement between office,
training centre and project sites.
- Coordinate with technicians and relevant departments regarding equipment requirements and availability.
- Ensure proper identification and labeling of equipment and storage locations.
- Maintain the store area in a clean, organized and safe condition.
- Prepare inventory reports and provide regular updates to management.
- Assist in identifying obsolete, damaged, or unused equipment for further action.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Inventory and record-maintenance skills.
- Basic knowledge of NDT equipment and tools.
- Ability to maintain accurate stock records.
- Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel and MS Office.
- Attention to detail and responsibility in handling equipment.
