Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SQL Developer with strong expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, ETL, and data migration. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining database solutions, building ETL workflows, supporting data migration initiatives, and ensuring data quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases and database objects.
- Write complex and efficient T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
- Design and develop SSIS packages for ETL and data integration.
- Perform data migration and database migration activities between legacy and target systems.
- Extract, transform, cleanse, and load data using SSIS and T-SQL.
- Develop migration scripts and perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze and resolve data quality, ETL, and database performance issues.
- Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, indexes, and ETL processes.
- Work with large volumes of data and ensure migration processes are accurate and efficient.
- Schedule and monitor ETL jobs using SQL Server Agent.




- Support production deployments and troubleshoot failures in database and ETL processes.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and business teams to understand data requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation for database, ETL, and migration processes.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Strong T-SQL development experience.
- Hands-on experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
- Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration.
- Experience with data/database migration projects.
- Experience with stored procedures, views, functions, CTEs, temporary tables, and complex joins.
- Valuable understanding of indexes, execution plans, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with SQL Server Agent and scheduled jobs.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience migrating data from legacy databases/applications to SQL Server.
- Experience with Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other source databases is a plus.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Azure SQL / Azure Data Factory is a plus.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
