We are looking for a Workday Technofunctional Production Support qualified to provide L2 production support for the Workday platform. The role requires a good combination of functional and technical knowledge , with strong hands-on experience in Workday Core HCM, Business Processes, Security, and Integrations .

The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving production issues, performing root-cause analysis, supporting integrations and business processes, and working closely with HR/HRIS, IT, Security, and other business teams to ensure smooth and stable Workday operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2 production support for Workday HCM, primarily Core HCM .
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, service requests, and functional/technical issues.
- Analyze and resolve issues related to:
- Workday Core HCM
- Business Processes
- Workday Security
- Integrations
- Reports and data

- Troubleshoot Business Process issues such as stuck transactions, approval/routing issues, validations, notifications, and workflow failures.
- Support and troubleshoot Workday integrations , including:

- EIB
- Core Connectors
- Workday Studio
- Web Services / APIs
- Inbound and outbound integrations

- Investigate integration failures, data issues, transformation errors, and upstream/downstream system failures.
- Troubleshoot Workday Security issues including security groups, domain/business process security, role assignments, and access-related issues.
- Analyze functional requirements and determine whether issues are related to configuration, security, integration, data, or business processes .
- Support Workday reports, calculated fields, custom reports, and data-related production issues.




- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and identify permanent solutions for recurring production issues.
- Work closely with HR/HRIS, IT, Security, Payroll, Integration, and business stakeholders to resolve critical issues.
- Manage incidents based on SLA, priority, and severity .
- Perform impact analysis, testing, and validation before implementing fixes in production.
- Support Workday biannual releases , including impact assessment, regression testing, defect identification, and post-release validation.
- Participate in production deployments, change management, and post-deployment validation.
- Maintain proper documentation of incidents, RCA, resolutions, and support procedures.
- Coordinate with Workday and third-party vendors for issues requiring external support.
- Identify opportunities to improve production support processes and automate repetitive support activities.

Mandatory Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Workday Production Support - L2 .
- Strong technofunctional understanding of Workday.
- Good experience in Workday Core HCM .
- Strong understanding of Workday Business Processes .
- Hands-on experience with Workday Security .
- Experience troubleshooting Workday Integrations .
- Good understanding of EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio and Web Services/APIs .
- Strong incident troubleshooting and RCA experience.
- Experience working in an SLA-driven production support environment.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
