Job Title: Direct Response Ad Copywriter
Role Overview
Were hiring a D2C Ad Copywriter who understands one thing deeply:
copy exists to drive action, not applause.
This role is for someone who has hands-on experience writing high-converting ad copy for Meta &
YouTube, understands hooks, hold, and scroll-stopping psychology, and can consistently produce
scripts that perform at scale.
Youll be working closely with performance marketers, editors, and founders to create UGC, brand, and
performance video scripts that convert.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Ad Copy (Core Responsibility)

Write high-converting ad copy for:

Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
o
YouTube video ads
Craft solid hooks (03 sec) that drive:
o
High CTR
o
Avg hook & hold rate of ~30%+
Optimize copy for:
o
o
o
Scroll-stopping
Clarity
Emotional pull + logical payoff
Video Ad Scripts (UGC + Brand + Performance)

Write video ad scripts for:

o
o
UGC-style testimonial & POV videos
Founder / Doctor / Authority videos / Testimonials / Local Languages
Performance-driven direct response ads
Brand-building narratives that still convert

Adapt scripts based on:

Funnel stage (TOF / MOF / BOF)
o
Customer awareness levels
Creative Testing & Iteration

Create multiple hook variations for the same offer
Rewrite and iterate based on:

Watch time & conversions

Collaborate with media buyers to improve performance using data-backed insights
Brand + Performance Balance
Maintain brand tone while still writing conversion-focused copy
