Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment posting, account reconciliation, and collections.
- Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices and credit/debit notes.
- Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding and overdue balances.
- Maintain accurate accounts receivable records and customer account statements.
- Apply and reconcile customer payments received through various payment methods.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, deductions, and unapplied cash.
- Perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts and the AR sub-ledger with the general ledger.
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports and collection reports.
- Coordinate with customers, sales, billing, and internal finance teams to resolve payment-related issues.
- Escalate long-outstanding or high-risk accounts as required.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain proper documentation and comply with company accounting policies and controls.
- Identify opportunities to improve AR processes, reduce outstanding receivables, and improve collection efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 5 +years of experience in Accounts Receivable, collections,



or general accounting.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and AR processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and reconciliation.
- Experience working with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
