The role involves planning and managing preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities, troubleshooting electrical issues, minimizing equipment downtime, and ensuring compliance with safety and statutory requirements. The position requires close coordination with production and other departments to maintain smooth plant operations, improve equipment reliability, manage maintenance resources and contractors, and support continuous improvement. The role also includes leading and developing the electrical maintenance team and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
