Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Production Merchandiser to coordinate the complete production process from order handover to final shipment. The role will be responsible for coordinating with merchandising, production, quality, sourcing, sampling, stores, and other relevant departments to ensure orders are produced and delivered as per approved specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

- Key Responsibilities1. Production Planning & CoordinationCoordinate with the production team to ensure timely execution of orders as per the production plan.
- Monitor order progress from cutting to finishing and packing.
- Follow up on daily production status and identify potential delays.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve production-related issues.
- Ensure production schedules and delivery commitments are followed.
- 2. Order & TNA ManagementPrepare and maintain Time and Action (TNA) plans for assigned orders.
- Track critical milestones including fabric/trims availability, cutting, sewing, washing, finishing, packing, and shipment.
- Ensure all activities are completed within the planned timelines.
- Highlight delays and take corrective action in coordination with the concerned teams.
- 3. Fabric & Trims Follow-upCoordinate with the sourcing, purchase, stores, and production teams regarding fabric and trims requirements.
- Monitor fabric and trims availability before production starts.
- Follow up on shortages, approvals, and material-related issues.




- Ensure materials are available as per the production schedule.
- 4. Production MonitoringMonitor the progress of orders on a daily basis.
- Coordinate with cutting, sewing, finishing, washing, printing, embroidery, and packing departments, as applicable.
- Track production quantities against planned quantities.
- Escalate bottlenecks and production delays to the concerned management.
- 5. Quality & Compliance CoordinationCoordinate with the Quality team to ensure products are manufactured according to approved samples, specifications, measurements, and quality standards.
- Follow up on quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams for inspections and approvals.
- 6. Buyer/Customer CoordinationMaintain regular communication with the merchandising and buyer-facing teams regarding production status.
- Provide timely updates on order progress, production issues, and expected completion dates.
- Ensure buyer requirements and approved specifications are communicated effectively to the production team.
- 7. Shipment & DispatchCoordinate with production, finishing, packing, quality, and logistics teams to ensure orders are ready for shipment within the committed timeline.
- Monitor packing and shipment readiness.
- Ensure required documents and approvals are completed before dispatch.




- Follow up on any shipment-related issues and communicate delays immediately.
- 8. Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate order-wise production records and reports.
- Prepare daily/weekly production status reports.
- Maintain TNA, order tracking sheets, production reports, and shipment status.
- Ensure all order-related information is updated accurately and on time.
- Required Skills & CompetenciesGood knowledge of garment manufacturing and production processes.
- Strong understanding of TNA and order follow-up.
- Positive coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Good understanding of garment quality standards and production requirements.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Educational QualificationGraduate in any discipline.
- Diploma/Degree in Fashion Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, Textile Technology, or related field will be an advantage.

Experience2–5 years of relevant experience in production merchandising, garment manufacturing, apparel merchandising, or a similar role.
