- Receive and verify incoming raw materials, accessories, consumables, and other items.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory registers.
- Check material quantity and condition at the time of receipt.
- Issue materials to the production department as per approved requirements.
- Maintain proper records of material inward and outward movements.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and inform management about materials that need to be replenished.
- Maintain proper storage and identification of materials.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile it with stock records.
- Prepare and maintain GRN, material issue slips, stock reports, and other store-related documents.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Production, Quality, and Dispatch departments regarding material requirements.
- Maintain records of finished goods and accessories ready for dispatch.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and systematic arrangement of the store.
- Support loading, unloading, packing, and dispatch activities whenever required.
- Update inventory data in Excel/ERP/software on a regular basis.
- Report any shortage, damage, mismatch, or stock discrepancy to the concerned person.
- Required Skills Basic knowledge of inventory and store management.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and basic computer operations.
- Positive record-keeping and documentation skills.
- Ability to identify and track different materials and accessories.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
- Experience in a manufacturing company / engineering industry will be preferred.
