Role & responsibilities for Site Engineer

- Supervise and manage day-to-day execution of slope stabilisation and restoration works at site.
- Execute and monitor rock/soil anchoring, self-drilling anchors, rock bolts, grouting, shotcrete, wire mesh, drainage, gabion works and slope protection systems.
- Supervise piling activities including drilling, casing, reinforcement and concreting wherever applicable.
- Read and interpret structural, civil and geotechnical drawings, specifications and approved methodologies.
- Ensure correct drilling depth, inclination/angle, alignment, reinforcement, grouting pressure and other technical parameters.
- Coordinate with client/consultant engineers for inspections, measurements, approvals and technical clarifications.
- Prepare daily progress reports, measurements, quantity statements and site records.
- Monitor manpower, machinery and material utilisation and maintain productivity.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with the Safety Engineer to ensure secure execution of work, particularly at heights, slopes, confined/steep zones and difficult terrain.
- Identify site issues and provide practical solutions for smooth execution.
- Candidate should be capable of independently handling a civil/ground engineering work front.

Role & responsibilities for Site Supervisor





- Supervise daily civil and slope stabilisation activities at site.
- Handle work crews and ensure proper deployment of labour and equipment.
- Supervise drilling, anchoring, grouting, shotcrete, wire mesh, rock bolting, piling, gabion and drainage works.
- Ensure drilling locations, depths, angles and spacing are maintained as per instructions/drawings.
- Coordinate with Site Engineer for daily work planning and execution.
- Check manpower attendance and productivity.
- Monitor material consumption and report requirements to the Site Engineer/Store.
- Maintain daily work/progress records and assist in measurement of completed work.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working practices at the work front.
- Coordinate with operators, skilled workers and subcontractors.
- Immediately report technical, safety or site-related issues to the Site Engineer.
- Candidate should be willing to work in steep slopes, difficult terrain and outdoor project conditions.

Preferred candidate for Site Engineer

AutoCAD, quantity measurement, site documentation, basic surveying and knowledge of slope protection techniques.

Preferred candidate for Site Supervisor

Candidates having hands-on experience with drilling rigs, compressors, grouting pumps and shotcrete operations will be preferred.
