About the Role

Bbrightside English Private Limited is looking for an experienced and execution-driven Human Resources Manager to take ownership of recruitment, employee relations, performance management and day-to-day HR operations.

We are looking for someone who is direct, responsible, approachable and confident in handling people. The person should be comfortable having difficult conversations, resolving employee concerns, working closely with managers and ensuring accountability across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end recruitment across Sales, Counselling, Operations, Tutors, Interns and other functions.

• Source, screen and interview candidates and coordinate the complete hiring process.

• Work with recruitment agencies and maintain a strong hiring pipeline.

• Manage onboarding, probation, employee documentation and offboarding.

• Handle employee concerns, conflicts and workplace escalations professionally.

• Support managers with performance reviews, feedback and performance improvement.

• Maintain HR policies, processes, attendance and employee records.

• Conduct employee check-ins and exit interviews.

• Track hiring, attrition, performance and other key HR metrics.





• Work closely with leadership on manpower planning and people-related decisions.

• Ensure HR processes are followed consistently across teams.

Who We're Looking For

• 2+ years of hands-on HR experience.

• Strong experience in recruitment and employee management.

• Positive understanding of HR operations and performance management.

• Strong communication skills in English and Malayalam.

• Confident in conducting interviews and difficult employee conversations.

• Direct and assertive while remaining professional and fair.

• Strong ownership and follow-up skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment.

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the HR function.

Preferred: Candidates with experience in startups, education, sales-driven, service or operations-heavy organisations.

What Matters Most

We are not looking for someone who only manages HR administration. We need someone who can hire the right people, understand employees, support managers, address problems early and bring structure and accountability to the organisation.
