Job Description:

- Prepare hygienic, nutritious and tasty South Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals as per the school’s menu.
- Must have strong expertise in South Indian cuisine, including breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
- Plan and prepare meals in appropriate quantities for students and staff.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen safety.
- Handle kitchen equipment, ingredients, storage and daily food preparation efficiently.
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation practices at all times.
- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely preparation and serving of meals.
- Ability to work in a residential school environment and manage bulk cooking efficiently.

Eligibility:

- Minimum 10+ years of relevant cooking experience.
- Robust knowledge of traditional South Indian cuisine and cooking methods.
- Experience in bulk/institutional cooking will be preferred.
- Responsible, disciplined and able to work as part of a team.
