Location: Ranchi Head Office, Jharkhand

Work Mode: Onsite / Hybrid coordination as required

Ranchi HO Reporting: Mandatory physical reporting 4–5 times per month, with additional visits/meetings as required by management

Experience: 2–6 years post-qualification experience preferred

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) – ICAI qualified

We are looking for a qualified and commercially oriented Chartered Accountant (CA) who can take responsibility for group-level financial management, taxation, statutory compliance, MIS, accounting oversight and financial coordination across the Company's multiple business verticals and branches.

The selected candidate will work closely with Management, HR & Operations, Accounts teams, branch teams, auditors, consultants, banks, statutory authorities and other stakeholders.

- Key Responsibilities1. Group Finance & AccountingOversee and review accounting activities across multiple companies, branches and business verticals of Plexgroup.
- Ensure proper recording, classification and reconciliation of financial transactions.
- Review general ledger, journal entries, receivables, payables and other accounting records.
- Monitor inter-company transactions, adjustments and reconciliations.
- Review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Establish appropriate accounting controls and financial processes.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely corrective action.
- Coordinate with branch accounts teams and ensure timely submission of financial data to the Head Office.
- 2. TaxationManage and review direct and indirect taxation matters for the group.
- Oversee GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliations and related documentation.
- Coordinate TDS compliance, deductions, payments, returns and certificates.
- Assist with income-tax return preparation and related tax compliance.
- Review tax computations and identify potential tax exposures.
- Coordinate with external tax consultants and advisors wherever required.
- Handle tax notices, queries, assessments and departmental communications in coordination with management and consultants.
- Ensure timely statutory payments and filings.
- 3. Statutory & Regulatory ComplianceMonitor statutory financial and tax compliance applicable to the Company's various entities and business operations.
- Maintain a compliance calendar for all applicable filings, payments and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax consultants and other professional advisors.
- Support statutory audit, tax audit and other financial audits.
- Ensure proper maintenance and availability of supporting documents and financial records.
- Escalate significant compliance risks to management on a timely basis.
- 4. Financial MIS & Management ReportingPrepare and review monthly financial MIS for management.

- Expenses
- Profitability
- Cash flow
- Receivables
- Payables
- Branch-wise performance
- Business-vertical-wise financial performance
- Budget vs. actual performance
- Provide management with financial analysis and actionable insights.
- Assist management in financial planning and business decision-making.
- 5. Budgeting & Financial PlanningAssist in preparation of annual and periodic budgets.
- Monitor actual expenditure against approved budgets.
- Identify major cost variances and provide explanations.
- Support cost-control initiatives across branches and business verticals.
- Assist management in evaluating the financial impact of new projects, branches and business initiatives.
- 6. Branch & Multi-Entity Financial CoordinationCoordinate financial information and compliance activities across the Company's Pan-India branches.
- Review branch-level accounting and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely closure of monthly accounts.
- Conduct periodic financial reviews with branch teams.
- Identify financial control gaps and recommend corrective measures.
- Physical reporting at Ranchi Head Office 4–5 times every month is mandatory for review, coordination and management meetings.
- Travel to other branches may be required based on business requirements.
- 7. Banking & Cash Flow ManagementMonitor banking transactions and bank reconciliations.
- Assist in cash-flow planning and fund management.
- Review payment schedules and outstanding liabilities.
- Coordinate with banks and financial institutions when required.
- Assist management with working-capital planning and financial controls.
- 8. Internal Controls & Risk ManagementReview existing financial processes and internal controls.
- Identify financial, taxation and compliance risks.
- Recommend appropriate control mechanisms.
- Monitor adherence to approved financial procedures.
- Assist management in preventing financial leakages, errors and compliance failures.
- Support internal investigations involving financial discrepancies where required.
- 9. Audit & Professional CoordinationCoordinate with statutory auditors, tax auditors, consultants and other professional advisors.
- Prepare schedules, reconciliations and documents required for audits.
- Track audit observations and ensure timely closure.
- Support management during financial, tax and compliance-related discussions.
- 10. Business & Management SupportProvide financial inputs for new business initiatives across IT, Fintech and Quick Commerce.
- Review commercial proposals, contracts and financial implications when required.
- Assist management in evaluating business costs, margins and profitability.
- Provide skilled advice on accounting, taxation and financial compliance matters.
- Participate in management meetings relating to finance, taxation and business planning.
- Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting.




- Strong understanding of Indian taxation and GST.
- Good knowledge of TDS and income-tax compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple companies and business verticals simultaneously.
- Experience in multi-branch or multi-location financial operations is preferred.
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.
- Working knowledge of accounting/ERP software.
- Strong audit and compliance management capability.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to independently handle finance-related responsibilities and coordinate with external professionals.
- High level of confidentiality, integrity and professional ethics.
- Ability to work directly with senior management.

Important Role RequirementThis is a group-level finance and compliance role, and the selected CA must be comfortable coordinating with multiple companies, business verticals and branches across India.

Physical presence at Plexgroup's Ranchi Head Office will be required approximately 4–5 times per month for management reviews, financial discussions, compliance coordination and other business requirements. Additional visits may be required depending on operational needs.

The role therefore requires a candidate who is comfortable with multi-location coordination, periodic travel and direct interaction with senior management.
