REQUIRE PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN SHOP/RETAIL COUNTER BUSINESS.

- What you will do every single day
- Enter every bill generated at the counter into Tally — same day, no backlog ever
- Enter every inward purchase (AP truck + dealer purchases) into Tally on the day of receipt
- Reconcile cash collected at the counter against Tally sales — every evening before leaving
- Reconcile UPI/soundbox receipts against Tally — every evening
- Maintain the contractor credit ledger — every receipt, every outstanding, every overdue flagged
- Send the owner a one-page daily report on WhatsApp: total sales, total cash, total UPI, total outstanding, any variance
- What you will do every weekWeekly outstanding report — who owes how much, since when
- Follow up on overdue contractor accounts via WhatsApp or phone
- Tally bank reconciliation against the shop's bank statement
- Stock entry verification — cross-check Tally inward entries against the manager's GRN register
- What you will do every monthComplete monthly Tally closing — sales, purchases, expenses, cash book
- Prepare a easy P&L; summary for the owner
- Hand all GST data to the CA on time — GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B input ready, not filed by you




- Reconcile Asian Paints ledger against their statement
- Non-negotiable requirementsMinimum 2 years working in Tally Prime — not learning, working
- Has handled a shop, distributor or trading firm — not a manufacturing company, not a corporate office
- Understands GST basics for a trading business — input, output, ITC; does not need to file, needs to understand
- Marathi or Hindi fluent — will interact with the shop manager and counter staff daily
- Can work independently — owner is not present daily to supervise
- Strong preference forPrior experience in a paint, hardware, building material or FMCG distribution business
- Has handled contractor/dealer outstanding ledgers before
- Knows how to read and match a purchase invoice against physical inward goods
