Dr Ok is a healthtech and quick-commerce platform delivering medicines, chronic-care bundles, and daily wellness essentials with speed and reliability. We combine the trust of a neighbourhood pharmacy with the convenience of app-based ordering and delivery — built for customers who need their medicines to arrive fast, correctly, and without compromise on safety.

The Role

We're hiring a Pharmacist to run day-to-day dispensing and compliance at our Ghansoli, Sector 11 store — a focused, close-knit outlet open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You'll have real ownership rather than being one of many pharmacists on a large floor. You'll be the person customers and the store trust to get medicines right, every time, whether the order comes from someone walking in or from the app, day or night.

Shift & Working Hours

• The store runs 24/7 with three 8-hour shifts:

– Morning: 7 AM – 3 PM

– Evening: 3 PM – 11 PM

– Night: 11 PM – 7 AM

• Shifts rotate on a weekly basis, so every pharmacist works morning, evening, and night shifts in turn

• 6 working days a week with 1 weekly off (rotating)

• Shift schedules are shared in advance so you can plan your week

• On night shifts, you are the pharmacist on duty for the store, handling walk-in customers and urgent app orders

Key Responsibilities

• Check, verify, and dispense prescriptions accurately, including Schedule H, H1, and X medicines as per regulatory requirements

• Maintain the narcotics/psychotropic register and all statutory records required for the store's drug license

• Scan and log every medicine using our barcode-based tracking system — at receiving, shelving, and dispatch





• Manage stock on a strict FEFO (first-expiry-first-out) basis and flag any near-expiry or damaged stock

• Handle cold-chain items correctly, including temperature monitoring and escalation if a cold-chain break occurs

• Counsel customers clearly on dosage, usage, and precautions — in person and over phone/chat for online orders

• Screen combined orders for drug interactions before dispatch, especially for multi-item app orders

• Handle billing and day-to-day store operations alongside dispensing duties

• Hand over clearly to the next shift, covering pending orders, stock issues, and anything that needs follow-up

• Escalate any compliance concern immediately, without waiting to be asked

What We're Looking For

• Valid, active D.Pharm/B.Pharm registration with the State Pharmacy Council (will be verified)

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on pharmacy experience — hospital, retail, or both

• Willing and comfortable to work rotating shifts, including night shifts (11 PM – 7 AM)

• Comfortable learning and working with digital tools: billing software, barcode scanning, inventory systems

• Sound clinical judgement and the confidence to hold the line on compliance, even under time pressure

• Clear, patient communication with customers of all ages

• Someone who wants ownership of a smaller store rather than being lost in a large team
