Job Summary

BBT – Blueball Technologies is looking for a motivated and career-focused Student Counsellor / Admission Counsellor to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for counselling students and working professionals, understanding their career goals, recommending suitable IT training programs, handling leads, conducting follow-ups, and supporting the admission process.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, confidence in handling students and parents, a positive attitude, and a strong interest in education and career counselling.

- Key ResponsibilitiesCounsel students and working professionals regarding suitable IT courses and career pathways.
- Understand students' educational background, career interests, skills, goals, and expectations.
- Conduct one-to-one counselling sessions and explain suitable BBT programs.
- Explain course curriculum, duration, eligibility, training methodology, career opportunities, fees, and admission procedures.
- Handle enquiries from students and parents through phone calls, WhatsApp, and direct counselling.
- Make outbound calls to assigned leads and generate counselling appointments.
- Follow up regularly with prospective students and parents.
- Schedule counselling sessions and centre visits.
- Handle student queries and objections professionally.
- Maintain robust relationships with prospective students throughout the admission journey.
- Convert qualified leads into admissions through effective counselling and follow-up.




- Maintain accurate lead information, remarks, follow-up dates, and conversion status in the CRM.
- Coordinate with the Training, Sales, and Placement teams when required.
- Achieve assigned daily/weekly/monthly counselling and admission targets.
- Prepare and submit regular activity and conversion reports to the reporting manager.
- RequirementsAny UG / PG degree.
- Freshers and candidates with 0–3 years of experience can apply.
- Excellent Tamil and English communication skills.
- Good interpersonal and convincing skills.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and handling prospective students.
- Ability to understand student requirements and recommend appropriate courses.
- Positive attitude, confidence, patience, and willingness to learn.
- Prior experience in education counselling, inside sales, telecalling, admissions, or training institutes will be an advantage.
