Sales Team Lead — Tele-Sales / Inside Sales

We're looking for a Sales Team Lead who has actually closed deals — not someone who's only generated leads or made cold calls, but someone who's personally moved prospects through the funnel and converted them, over the phone.

This isn't a field sales role. We need someone from a tele-sales, digital sales, or inside sales background who knows what it takes to close over a call — and can now lead a team to do the same.

The ideal candidate has sold across multiple regions, not just one local market, and is comfortable leading a team while staying close to the numbers — calls, conversions, and CRM data.

Key Responsibilities

- Personally drive sales conversions over calls — not just qualify leads, but close them
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives to hit conversion targets
- Own the sales pipeline end-to-end in the CRM — lead status, follow-ups, conversion stages, reporting
- Review call quality and conversion technique across the team, and coach reps to improve close rates
- Handle sales across multiple regions/markets — this is remote/digital sales, not one local territory
- Analyse lead-to-conversion data to spot where the funnel is leaking




- Work with the marketing/lead-gen team and feed back on lead quality
- Report sales performance and conversion metrics daily/weekly to management

What You'll Need

- Minimum 3 years in tele-sales, digital sales, or inside sales (purely field sales backgrounds won't be considered)
- A genuine track record across the full sales cycle — not just lead generation, but actual closures over calls
- Hands-on experience with a CRM tool — Salesforce, Zoho, LeadSquared, HubSpot, or similar — this is mandatory
- Prior experience as a team lead or senior sales executive, managing or mentoring a small team (preferred)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills — comfortable handling objections and closing over the phone
- Comfortable being measured on conversion rate, call quality, and revenue per lead
- Experience selling across regions/geographies is a plus

Not a Fit If You

- Come from a purely field sales / door-to-door background
- Have only handled lead generation or cold calling, without closing responsibility
