Job SummaryWe are looking for a Foundry Supervisor with 2–3 years of experience in the metal industry to supervise daily foundry production activities, manage workers, maintain quality standards, and ensure smooth production operations.
- Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise day-to-day foundry production activities.
- Manage and coordinate operators and shop-floor workers.
- Monitor melting, moulding, pouring, and casting processes.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the schedule.
- Check the quality of castings and identify defects.
- Monitor furnace operations and maintain proper temperature and process parameters.
- Ensure proper use of raw materials and reduce material wastage.
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve production issues.
- Maintain production records and prepare daily reports.
- Ensure workers follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Identify process problems and take corrective action.
- Train and guide workers on proper operating procedures.
- Required Skills2–3 years of experience in a foundry / metal manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of basic casting and foundry processes.
- Experience in handling shop-floor workers.
- Basic knowledge of furnace, moulding, pouring, and casting operations.
- Ability to identify common casting defects.
- Good communication and team-handling skills.
- Ability to work in a production-oriented setting.
Preferred ExperienceCandidates from Iron Foundry, Steel Foundry, Aluminium Foundry, SG Iron, CI Foundry, or other metal casting industries can be considered.
