Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in custom WordPress development, WooCommerce, plugin and theme development, performance optimization, and website security. You will work closely with designers, project managers, and clients to build high-quality, scalable, secure, and SEO-friendly websites while mentoring junior developers.

Experience with other CMS platforms such as Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, or similar website builders will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop custom WordPress themes from Figma, Adobe XD, or PSD designs.
- Build custom WordPress plugins and extend existing functionality.
- Customize premium themes and plugins while maintaining update compatibility.
- Develop and maintain WooCommerce stores, including custom checkout, payment gateways, shipping methods, and product functionality.
- Create custom Gutenberg blocks and work with the WordPress Block Editor.
- Develop dynamic websites using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Custom Post Types (CPT), and custom taxonomies.
- Integrate third-party APIs, CRMs, payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing platforms.
- Optimize websites for performance, Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility, and security.
- Troubleshoot PHP, JavaScript, database, and plugin-related issues.
- Perform website migrations between hosting environments.
- Implement website security, SSL, malware cleanup, backups, and recovery solutions.
- Use Git for version control and collaborate within development teams.
- Review code, maintain coding standards, and mentor junior developers.
- Estimate development tasks and participate in project planning.
- Support projects built on Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, or other CMS platforms when required.
