About The Role

NAZZTEC is seeking an experienced Senior WordPress Developer to lead the development, customization, and ongoing maintenance of our corporate website. This is a freelance, project-based role ideal for a highly skilled professional who can independently manage the entire development lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with our business and design teams to transform our existing website into a modern, responsive, and secure digital platform that aligns with our brand and business objectives.

The role requires a deep understanding of WordPress architecture, PHP, MySQL, front-end technologies, and best practices in SEO and website performance optimization. The developer will be responsible for implementing UI/UX designs, optimizing website performance, ensuring security, and managing deployment and migration activities.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background with proven experience in WordPress development.

Essential qualifications include expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript,



and experience in developing custom themes and plugins. A solid understanding of WordPress architecture, REST API integrations, and responsive web design is mandatory. Prior experience working on enterprise or corporate websites, especially within the IT, cybersecurity, or technology consulting sectors, will be highly advantageous.

Convert UI/UX designs into fully responsive, pixel-perfect WordPress pages compatible across devices and browsers. Optimize website performance by implementing best practices for speed, Core Web Vitals, and SEO, including image optimization, caching, and script management. Integrate third-party APIs, CRM systems, analytics tools, and other business applications to enhance website functionality.

Ensure website security through best practices, perform security hardening, and monitor for vulnerabilities.



Oversee website migration, deployment, and hosting activities, including DNS, SSL, and domain management. Conduct thorough QA and UAT testing prior to launch, providing post-launch support and troubleshooting as needed.

Maintain technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer to internal teams.
