Position Name: Wind Turbine Lattice Structure Erection Trainer

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Renewable Energy, or Production Engineering with ~5 years of relevant experience, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related disciplines with ~7 years of relevant experience.

Key Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in wind turbine lattice structure erection, steel structure installation, tower assembly, site execution, or related training.

- Strong knowledge of lattice tower components, structural members, bolted connections, alignment, erection sequencing, and structural drawings/GA/fabrication drawings.

- Experience with rigging, cranes, chain pulley blocks, torque/hydraulic tools, lifting equipment, and other site erection tools.

- Strong understanding of work-at-height, confined space, lifting safety, permit-to-work, emergency response, PPE, fall protection, scaffolding, and toolbox talks.

- Knowledge of wind energy site practices, foundation-to-structure interface, material handling, stacking, and preservation.

- Ability to train candidates on component identification, member fit-up, bolt tightening, torque verification, plumb checking, alignment, and structural stability.

- Understanding of quality inspections, erection tolerances, checklists, documentation,



and reporting.

- Ability to explain wind turbine support infrastructure, workforce roles, site coordination, and industry expectations to trainees.

Training & Development:

- Deliver classroom and practical training for wind turbine lattice structure erection workforce programs.

- Develop/support lesson plans, presentations, handouts, practical exercises, assessments, job sheets, attendance, and trainee progress records.

- Provide coaching and constructive feedback, adapting communication to ITI, diploma, and workforce-development trainees.

- Promote discipline, teamwork, safety, continuous improvement, and a positive learning environment while ensuring training meets industry and employability requirements.

- Coordinate with project, training, and assessment teams for smooth batch execution and practical sessions.

Preferred Profile

- Experience in wind energy, transmission tower erection, heavy steel structures, fabrication, infrastructure execution, or field technician training preferred.

- Exposure to renewable energy and workforce/skill development programs will be an added advantage.

- Solid communication skills and genuine interest in teaching and developing job-ready talent.
