nShooting Stars Foundation (SSF) supports scholars through their academic journey and into meaningful careers, and sustains a growing community of alumni, corporate volunteers, and partners around that mission.
nWe're looking for a creative Design Intern who can turn ideas, stories, and information into engaging visual communication. This role is ideal for someone who loves design and wants hands-on experience translating real impact stories of students, scholarships, and communities into visuals that inspire donors and stakeholders to act. You'll get to work across formats, experiment with new tools, and see your designs directly support a nonprofit's mission.

- Position Title: Creative Design Internn
- Type: Internship with availability of 15 hours per week, adaptable around college schedules.n
- Stipend: Rs 4,000 - 5,000 per month (depending on experience)n
- Location: Chennai (Hybrid - Minimum 1-2 days a week at Nungambakkam office)n
- Availability: Monday to Friday with some evening and weekend availabilities as neededn

nWhat You'll Do

- Design newsletters, emailers, and PowerPoint decksn
- Create social media and digital communication creativesn
- Develop layouts, templates, and visual assetsn
- Adapt content across formats while maintaining brand consistencyn
- Experiment with AI tools to improve design and creative workflowsn
- Work with the team on ideas, edits, and iterationsn

nWhat We're Looking For

- College student studying Design, Visual Communication, Media, Marketing, or a related fieldn
- Good eye for layout, typography, and visual presentationn
- Comfortable with Canva, PowerPoint, or similar toolsn
- Curious and comfortable experimenting with AI toolsn
- Creative, detail-oriented, and open to feedbackn
- A portfolio or samples of your work is a plusn
