We are looking for a Web Developer Fresher who is interested in building and managing websites and wants to develop strong practical skills in e-commerce, web development and SEO.
You don't need extensive experience in Shopify or WordPress. Basic training on both platforms will be provided.
However, you should have a positive understanding of web development fundamentals, coding and basic technical concepts. We are looking for someone who understands how a website works, not just someone who knows how to edit content.
Key Responsibilities
Website Development & Maintenance
- Create, update and maintain websites using Shopify and WordPress
- Update website pages, sections, menus, banners and content
- Make basic website customisations
- Work with themes and templates
- Make changes using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Identify and fix basic website issues
- Check website responsiveness across desktop and mobile
- Maintain website structure and functionality
Content & Blog Management
- Publish and format articles/blog posts
- Upload and optimise images
- Update website content, product information and pages
- Maintain website navigation, collections, categories and other content
- Coordinate with the content and creative team for website updates
On-Page SEO
- Implement basic on-page SEO requirements
- Update page titles and meta descriptions
- Optimise headings and URLs
- Add and optimise image alt text
- Maintain internal linking
- Ensure proper page structure
- Work with the team to implement SEO recommendations
Technical Skills
Must Have:
- Basic knowledge of HTML
- Basic knowledge of CSS
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript
- Understanding of responsive web design
- Basic understanding of how websites and web pages work
- Basic knowledge of SEO
- Familiarity with website browsers and developer tools
- Willingness to learn Shopify and WordPress
Shopify & WordPress:
- Basic knowledge is preferred
- Students/freshers who have worked on Shopify or WordPress projects are encouraged to apply
- Training will be provided for our specific Shopify and WordPress setup
Good to Have:
- Basic knowledge of Shopify Liquid
- Basic PHP knowledge
- Git/GitHub
- Google Search Console
- Google Analytics
- Experience creating websites as a college/personal project

Training Provided We will provide basic training on Shopify, WordPress, our website structure and internal processes.
Important This is a fresher position, but not a role for someone with zero technical knowledge.
You should already have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and web development fundamentals. Shopify and WordPress can be learned on the job.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
