We are looking for an Indexing Executive, as an Indexing Executive you will analyze a manuscript from a researcher’s or general reader’s perspective.

Key Responsibilities The indexer’s primary objective is to act as a bridge between the reader and the author. They analyze a manuscript from a researcher’s or general reader’s perspective to answer the question: "How would someone look for this information?"

- Information Architect:



Grouping diverse terminology under a unified, logical structure.

- Quality Controller: Ensuring consistency in names, dates, spelling, and thematic categories across the entire manuscript.

- Usability Expert: Filtering out passing mentions (e.g., a straightforward name-drop) and only indexing pages where meaningful information is actually discussed.

Key Tech Stack & Skills

Required

- Education: Any Bachelor’s degree.
- Technical Knowledge: 1+ year of experience in Indexing
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills
