- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly loom production plans.
- Allocate loom capacity based on sales orders, customer priorities, and delivery schedules.
- Plan style changes and machine loading to maximize loom utilization.
- Monitor production against the plan and take corrective actions for deviations.
- Ensure smooth execution of weaving schedules.
2. Loom Allocation & Scheduling
- Allocate orders to appropriate looms based on machine capability and fabric construction.
- Plan loom-wise and shed-wise production schedules.
- Minimize loom idle time and optimize changeover efficiency.
- Coordinate with weaving supervisors for timely execution.
3. Order Management
- Review customer orders and delivery commitments.
- Prioritize urgent and export orders.
- Track order progress from warping to fabric dispatch.
- Ensure timely completion of production orders.
4. Coordination with Departments
- Coordinate with:
- Warping Department
- Sizing Department
- Weaving Department
- Quality Assurance
- Maintenance
- Stores & Inventory
- Sales & Marketing
- Ensure timely availability of beams, yarn, accessories, and manpower.
5. Production Monitoring
- Monitor daily production performance.
- Analyze loom efficiency, stoppages, and downtime.
- Track production losses and suggest improvement actions.
- Prepare variance reports against production plans.
6. Inventory Control
- Monitor grey fabric inventory levels.
- Coordinate yarn and beam requirements with stores.
- Prevent excess inventory and material shortages.
- Maintain optimum work-in-progress (WIP).
7. MIS & Reporting
- Prepare daily loom utilization reports.
- Generate production planning and order status reports.
- Maintain production dashboards and KPI reports.
- Present production reviews to management.
8. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve loom productivity.
- Reduce changeover time and production losses.
- Support lean manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in cost reduction projects.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Textile Technology.
- Additional certification in Production Planning or Textile Management is preferred.
Experience
- 10-18 years of experience in weaving operations and production planning.
- Experience in shuttleless looms (Airjet,).
- Strong knowledge of fabric constructions, weaving processes, and loom scheduling.
Pay: ₹43,156.96 - ₹65,613.44 per month
