: Junior Maintenance Engineer (Textile Industry)

Position: Junior Maintenance Engineer

Location: Erode / Tamil Nadu

Reporting To: Maintenance Manager / Engineering Head

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Textile Engineering.
- Freshers to 3 years of experience in textile manufacturing maintenance.
- Exposure to spinning, weaving, sizing, or processing machinery is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of textile machinery.
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults.
- Monitor machine performance and report recurring issues.
- Support installation, commissioning, and modification of machinery and equipment.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and machine history cards.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize downtime.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts and maintenance tools.
- Follow safety procedures and statutory compliance requirements.




- Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Support utility maintenance activities such as compressors, pumps, motors, and air systems.

Key Skills
- Knowledge of textile machinery maintenance.
- Understanding of TPM, preventive maintenance, and root cause analysis.
- Basic knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with maintenance planning and documentation.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
