Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SMT Production professional to manage and oversee surface mount technology operations on the shop floor, ensuring efficient, high-quality PCB assembly in line with production targets and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor SMT line equipment including Pick & Place machines, Stencil Printers, Reflow Ovens, AOI, and SPI systems
- Plan and execute daily SMT production schedules to meet output and delivery targets
- Perform machine setup, program changeovers, and feeder loading as per BOM/work order
- Conduct first article inspection (FAI) and ensure process parameters are within specification
- Monitor solder paste printing, component placement accuracy, and reflow profiles
- Identify and troubleshoot defects (tombstoning, bridging, misalignment,



cold joints, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards
- Maintain SMT line documentation: production reports, downtime logs, rejection analysis
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams to minimize downtime
- Implement 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Train and guide line operators on machine handling and safety practices
- Ensure adherence to ESD and safety protocols on the shop floor

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or related field
- Hands-on experience with SMT machines (e.g., Panasonic)
- Solid understanding of PCB assembly processes and SMT defects
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Ability to work in shifts and manage a production team
