: Planning Engineer

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Civil) with NICMAR (PGP/MBA in Construction/Project Management) preferred

Role Overview:- We are seeking a Planning & MIS Engineer responsible for project planning, progress monitoring, MIS reporting, FMS tracking, and audit/checklist compliance.

The role focuses on ensuring project performance across Quantity, Quality, and Time parameters, with a strong emphasis on understanding and working within FMS and checklist-based monitoring frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:-

Planning & Scheduling

- Review and understand drawings, BOQ, and project scope
- Prepare and track project schedules
- Monitor planned vs actual progress

MIS & Reporting

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports
- Maintain accurate project data and dashboards
- Highlight delays, deviations, and risks

FMS (Field Monitoring System)

- Prepare and validate FMS data
- Track site progress through structured monitoring systems
- Develop a strong working understanding of the FMS platform, including data entry formats, update cycles, and reporting logic
- Work accordingly with FMS protocols to ensure timely and accurate uploads, cross-verification with site data, and resolution of discrepancies

Quality Audit & Compliance

- Support audit processes and checklist tracking




- Monitor quality compliance and closure of observations
- Understand checklist formats and audit parameters thoroughly, and work in line with defined checklist requirements at each project stage
- Ensure checklist items are updated, verified, and closed within specified timelines, coordinating with site teams for evidence and corrective action

Coordination & Task Tracking

- Track delegation sheet items and ensure timely closure
- Coordinate with site, QA/QC, and management teams

Key Skills Required

- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Knowledge of MS Project (preferred)
- Understanding of construction drawings and BOQ
- Good understanding of FMS (Field Monitoring System) and ability to work accordingly with its data structure and reporting requirements
- Strong understanding of checklist-based audit and compliance tracking, with the ability to work systematically against checklist parameters
- Valuable communication and coordination skills

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Accuracy and timeliness of MIS reports
- Planning vs actual variance
- FMS data accuracy and timeliness of updates
- Audit and checklist compliance and closure rate
- Task completion within timelines.

CTC Range:- 7 to 10 L PA (based on candidate profile). NoteWe are specifically looking for candidates inclined towards Planning, MIS, and Project Controls roles, not purely site execution roles.
