Key Responsibilities

- Develop and modify 2D/3D mechanical designs and models using CAD software such as SolidWorks / Autodesk Inventor.

- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and BOMs.

- Apply mechanical engineering principles to develop protected, reliable, and manufacturable designs.

- Ensure designs and drawings comply with applicable ASME, API, and other relevant engineering standards/specifications.

- Review customer specifications, technical requirements, and project documentation.

- Select appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing methods based on design requirements.

- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Production, Quality, Procurement, and Project Engineering teams for successful execution of designs.

- Understand manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, welding, forming, casting, forging, and assembly.





- Modify designs based on manufacturing requirements, inspection feedback, and engineering changes.

- Participate in Design Reviews, Design Verification, and Design Validation activities.

- Support troubleshooting of design and manufacturing-related issues.

- Maintain engineering drawings, design records, revisions, and technical documentation.

- Identify opportunities for design optimisation, cost reduction, standardisation, and improved manufacturability.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience in oil & gas / process equipment / machinery / pressure equipment / industrial equipment.

- Knowledge of design calculations and engineering documentation.

- Experience working with manufacturing and fabrication teams.

Knowledge of ERP/PDM/PLM systems
