Job Title: Finance Executive

Experience: Minimum 3 years

Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Finance Executive to manage fixed asset and CAPEX accounting while also supporting the Finance team in reviewing and evaluating business spends. The role requires good accounting fundamentals, SAP knowledge, solid Excel skills and the ability to independently follow up with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Fixed Asset & CAPEX Accounting

- End-to-end accounting of fixed assets and CAPEX in SAP.
- Review and processing of CAPEX PRs/POs and related vendor bills.
- Review vendor bills for appropriate TDS and GST applicability/compliance before booking.
- Asset capitalization, CWIP accounting and depreciation runs in SAP.
- Asset physical verification and preparation of reconciliation.
- Identification and resolution of asset discrepancies.
- Asset transfers, retirement, disposal and write-off in SAP.
- Preparation of asset-related schedules and data for auditors.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Ind AS and Companies Act / Schedule II requirements.

Sales & Marketing Spend Evaluation

- Review Sales & Marketing PRs from a finance and commercial perspective.
- Understand the business rationale, necessity and expected ROI of proposed spends.
- Challenge assumptions and seek adequate justification/data from stakeholders.




- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, negotiation or alternative approaches.
- Where direct ROI is difficult to quantify, work with stakeholders to identify appropriate KPIs or measurable outcomes.
- Be persistent in follow-ups and ensure PRs are adequately evaluated before approval.

Other Finance Responsibilities:

- Support MIS, reconciliations, financial analysis and other Finance assignments as required.
- Take up additional responsibilities/projects based on business requirements.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and drive assigned activities to closure.

Skills Required

- Working knowledge of SAP, preferably Asset Accounting.
- Good understanding of fixed asset/CAPEX accounting.
- Working knowledge of TDS and GST provisions relevant to invoice/bill processing.
- Basic knowledge of Ind AS and Companies Act / Schedule II.
- Good Excel skills VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and basic formulas.
- Strong analytical and comprehension skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proactive, persistent and confident in asking questions and challenging business assumptions.
- Quick learner with a go-getter attitude and willingness to take ownership beyond routine accounting work.
- Good team player with the ability to work independently.
