- Handle order-wise diamond bagging and assorting for jewellery production.
- Receive diamond requirements/orders and prepare diamonds according to each order.
- Count, sort and assort diamonds order-wise as per size, shape, quality, colour and required quantity.
- Prepare separate diamond bags for each order/design with accurate quantity and specifications.
- Ensure the correct diamonds are placed in the correct order bag.
- Properly label, tag and organize diamond bags with order/design details.
- Match the prepared diamond bags with the respective order sheet/job sheet.
- Recheck every bag for quantity, specification and order accuracy before handing it over to the factory/production team.
- Maintain records of diamond bags prepared, issued and received.
- Coordinate with the order and production teams for diamond requirements and pending orders.
- Track pending orders and ensure diamond bagging is completed on time.
- Identify and immediately report any shortage,
excess or mismatch in diamonds.
- Maintain proper organization and safe handling of diamonds throughout the process.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 1–3 years of experience in diamond/jewellery order processing, diamond bagging or diamond assorting preferred.
- Previous experience specifically in order-wise diamond bagging will be highly preferred.
- Positive understanding of diamond counting, sorting, assorting and specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in counting.
- Comfortable handling multiple orders simultaneously.
- Should be systematic in maintaining order-wise bags and records.
- Experience working with a diamond jewellery manufacturing/production team is preferred.
- Candidates who have previously handled diamond bagging for jewellery orders will be given preference.
