Role & responsibilities

- Review and evaluate credit proposals in line with approved credit policies and underwriting norms.

- Assess customer financials, income sources, business stability, and supporting documents to validate eligibility and repayment capacity.

- Track and record the credit observation and update timely with the respective team members

- Coordinate with business and field teams to resolve credit-related queries and clarifications.

- Empower and train field teams by providing credit knowledge, underwriting clarity, and guidance on policy interpretation and customer selection.

- Maintain defined turnaround time (TAT) for all credit review cases.

- Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, regulatory, and statutory requirements.

- Identify credit risks and policy deviations and recommend appropriate risk mitigants.





- Support and recommend system enhancements or process improvements to strengthen credit controls and operational efficiency.

- Monitor portfolio quality, identify early warning signals, and escalate concerns to relevant stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile

- Relevant 3 years of experience in credit appraisal is an advantage

- Well versed in MS tools

- Robust communication and coordination skills, including interaction with field and business teams.

- Good time management skills with the ability to ensure quick turnaround time.

- Effective presentation and documentation skills.
