We are looking for a Junior Academic Counsellor who is enthusiastic, approachable, and passionate about helping students make informed decisions about their education and career goals.
The candidate will be responsible for understanding students' requirements, providing appropriate guidance on our academic programs, following up with prospective students, and supporting the admissions team in converting enquiries into enrolments.
Key Responsibilities
Counsel students and parents regarding courses, programs, test preparation, and study-abroad opportunities.
Understand the student's academic background, career goals, interests, and requirements.
Explain course features, eligibility, program structure, perks, and admission process clearly.
Maintain regular and timely follow-ups with leads and update their status in the CRM/lead management system.
Build a positive relationship with students and parents throughout the counselling and admission process.
Assist students in understanding the next steps in the application/enrolment process.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth handling of student enquiries and admissions.
Handle student queries professionally and escalate complex cases to senior counsellors or management when required.Role & responsibilities
