Role & responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day jewellery accounting and stock management.
- Must have working knowledge of Gatti and/or MMI jewellery software.
- Maintain and match customer and supplier ledgers and resolve mismatch issues.
- Handle gold and diamond stock accounting and reconciliation.
- Receive, count, verify and properly tag jewellery stock.
- Maintain records of jewellery sent to and received from the factory.
- Handle factory-to-office stock transfers and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Check jewellery, gold weight, diamond details, quantity and tags during inward/outward movements.
- Verify factory stock received against the system, challan/invoice and physical quantity.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in physical stock vs. software records.
- Maintain accurate records of all jewellery inward, outward and stock movements





Preferred candidate profile

- 1-6 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the jewellery/diamond industry.
- Hands-on experience with Gatti and/or MMI jewellery software is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of gold and diamond accounting and jewellery stock reconciliation.
- Experience in stock counting, tagging, inward/outward and factory stock transfers.
- Valuable understanding of ledger matching and reconciliation.

Should be accurate, efficient and detail-oriented.
- Candidates with experience in a jewellery manufacturing or diamond jewellery company will be preferred.
- Should be fluent with Bengali, English & Hindi Language
