nRole Description

nTVC is looking for a Vice President – Investments to lead deal origination, execution, and

nportfolio management across its investment portfolio. This is a senior investing role that

ncombines sharp analytical rigour with deep sector conviction — you will be expected to

nindependently source opportunities, lead diligence, and work closely with portfolio founders

npost-investment to drive value creation.

nThe ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in venture capital or growth investing, a

ngenuine intellectual interest in energy transition and climate tech, and the ability to operate

nwith a high degree of ownership in a lean, fast-moving team. You will work directly with the

nFounding Partners and play a meaningful role in shaping TVC's investment thesis and

nportfolio strategy as the fund scales.

nRoles & Responsibilities

n

nDeal Origination & Pipeline

n• Build and manage a robust deal pipeline through proactive outreach to founders,

naccelerators, co-investors, and ecosystem networks

n• Track emerging sub-sectors, technology trends, and policy developments in energy

ntransition to identify investment themes ahead of the curve

n

nInvestment Evaluation & Execution

n• Lead end-to-end diligence on prospective investments — business model, market

nsizing, technology assessment,



competitive landscape, team evaluation, and financial

nanalysis

n• Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to the Investment

nCommittee with clarity and conviction

n• Structure term sheets and lead deal negotiations in coordination with legal and fund

noperations teams

nPortfolio Management & Value Creation

n• Support portfolio founders on strategic priorities — follow-on fundraising, hiring,

npartnerships, go-to-market, and business development

n• Monitor portfolio performance against key operating and financial metrics; flag risks

nand opportunities proactively

n• Facilitate introductions to relevant co-investors, customers, and ecosystem partners

nwithin TVC's network

nThought Leadership & Fund Building

n• Contribute to TVC's external thought leadership — sector reports, investment thesis

npieces, and panel participation

n

nWhat We're Looking For

n• 6–10 years of experience in venture capital & growth equity.

n• Prior exposure to energy, climate tech, infrastructure, manufacturing, industrials, or adjacent sectors

nstrongly preferred

n• Demonstrated ability to independently source, evaluate, and execute investments end-

nto-end

n• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical skills

n• Excellent written and verbal communication — able to synthesize complex technical

nand market dynamics into clear investment perspectives

n• Founder-friendly approach with the ability to build trusted, long-term relationships

nwith portfolio companies

n• Comfortable operating with autonomy in a small, high-conviction team
