About the Learning & Development Department:
The Learning & Development (L&D;) department is a strategic platform committed to continually elevating every member of an organization by enhancing the competencies, alignment and empowerment required to deliver complex solutions. The department adopts a comprehensive strategy to enhance employee skills by thoroughly reassessing the entire learning journey. Additionally, the department addresses ad-hoc training requests from management and department heads as needed.
The primary focus of the team is to ensure the effective delivery of our core values and their seamless integration with our clients. Furthermore, the team is dedicated to embedding these values into the organizational culture, ensuring they permeate throughout all levels of the workforce.
The department is broken down into 3 core functions:
Consulting - Leads problem identification, solutioning, end to end learning strategy design, curation of interventions, and drives data intelligence and reporting across all L&D; initiatives
Content Services - Manage end-to-end content development, maintenance, and all things related to courseware
Execution Wing - Manages the logistics of conducting trainings
Roles and Responsibilities:
This role oversees the end‑to‑end training operations for one of our most fast‑paced business units,
serving as the single point of contact for all learning needs. It ensures seamless execution of Current Hire Training, On‑the‑Job Training, upskilling programs, and capability‑building initiatives across domain, functional, behavioral, and leadership areas. The role is responsible for running the training engine with precision, speed, and operational excellence—continuously addressing challenges through data‑driven insights, process efficiency, cross‑functional coordination, and strong stakeholder collaboration.
A core expectation of this role is to drive outcome‑focused learning interventions that deliver measurable impact and directly support business performance
You will be responsible for the following
§ Strategic Partnership and Ownership of Training Operations:
– Act as the primary liaison between L&D; and departmental leadership (HoDs), ensuring alignment of training initiatives with business objectives
– Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand organizational priorities and emerging skill requirements
– Run the complete training lifecycle from planning to execution across all training programs
§ Needs Analysis & Solution Design:
– Conduct comprehensive training needs assessments across departments
– Translate business requirements into structured learning solutions, including programs, workshops, and blended learning interventions
– Ensure solutions are scalable, measurable, and aligned with organizational competency frameworks
– Design learning solutions that are tailored to the context of a services organization, particularly one delivering financial outsourcing solutions to global clients in the private equity and investment banking domains to ensure high relevance, precision, and industry alignment
§ Cross-Functional Expertise:
– Invest time in building a firm-wide understanding and connecting insights across functions
– Integrate both technical and functional knowledge into training programs to strengthen relevance and impact
§ Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
– Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative learning methodologies
– Recommend and implement improvements to enhance learner engagement and program outcomes
Prerequisites:
§ Basic
– 8-15 years of experience in Learning and Development, training operations, or program management
– Graduate in any field
– Interpersonal skills and communication skills (written and oral)
– Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills
– Expertise in L&D; strategy, instructional design, and learning technologies
– Ability to analyze complex business needs and translate them into actionable learning solutions
– Adaptability to work across diverse domains and organizational functions
– Strong eye for detail and ability to multi-task
– Problem-solving and decision-making
– Collaboration skills
§ Preferred
– MBA in HR or other relevant L&D; certifications
– Strong experience delivering L&D; solutions to financial services and/or outsourcing companies
– Setting long-term goals and aligning short-term actions to achieve them
Compensation
§ The compensation structure will be as per industry standards learning, development, training, program management, training operations
