We are looking for a VMC Machine Operator responsible for operating Vertical Machining Centers to manufacture components as per engineering drawings, production schedules, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate VMC machines safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload components/fixtures correctly.
- Set work offsets and tool offsets as per the job requirement.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T;.
- Perform basic tool setting and tool changes.
- Monitor machining parameters such as RPM, feed, depth of cut, and coolant.
- Conduct in-process inspection using vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Check first-off and subsequent components according to inspection requirements.
- Identify tool wear, dimensional variation, surface-finish issues, and machining defects.
- Make basic offset corrections when required.
- Maintain production targets, quality standards,



and machine utilization.
- Follow 5S, PPE, safety procedures, and work instructions.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic daily machine maintenance.
- Record production quantities, rejection/rework details, and inspection results.
- Report machine abnormalities, tool problems, and quality issues to the supervisor.

Required Skills
- VMC machine operating experience.
- Basic knowledge of Fanuc/Siemens/Mitsubishi CNC controls is an advantage.
- Knowledge of cutting tools and machining processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of CNC/VMC programs and G/M codes.
- Valuable attention to dimensional accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work in shifts and meet production requirements.

Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, CNC Machining, Production, or related trade preferred.
- Freshers with relevant ITI/Diploma training may also be considered for trainee/operator positions.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
