VMC Programmer & Operator Job Type: Full-time Experience: 5–7 years Industry: Precision Engineering / CNC Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced VMC Programmer & Operator with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in VMC machining, CNC programming, and 3D model-to-program conversion. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently interpreting 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings, developing machining strategies, creating CNC programs/toolpaths, setting up VMC machines, and producing precision components with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities - Operate, set up, and troubleshoot VMC machines.

- Independently create and edit CNC/VMC programs.
- Convert 3D CAD models into CNC machining programs/toolpaths.
- Study 3D models, 2D drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T.;
- Plan machining operations, tool sequences, and workholding methods.
- Select appropriate cutting tools and optimize cutting parameters.
- Perform tool setting, workpiece setting, and machine/work offsets.
- Conduct first-piece inspection and in-process dimensional inspection.
- Identify and resolve machining, tooling, and programming issues.
- Optimize machining cycles, tool life, surface finish, and productivity.
- Ensure components are manufactured according to required dimensional accuracy and specifications.




- Maintain proper documentation and follow safety and quality procedures.

Mandatory Skills - 5–7 years of VMC/CNC machining experience - Strong VMC/CNC programming experience - 3D CAD model → CNC program/toolpath conversion - Ability to independently develop machining programs from 3D models and drawings - Strong knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, and machining processes - Good understanding of GD&T;, tolerances, and engineering drawings - Knowledge of tool offsets, work offsets, and tool setting - Ability to troubleshoot CNC programming and machining problems - Knowledge of precision measuring instruments Preferred Qualifications - ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or related field.

- Experience with CNC/VMC controllers and CAM software is preferred.
- Experience in precision/component manufacturing will be an advantage.

Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who can independently handle the complete process: 3D CAD Model / Drawing → Process Planning → Tool Selection → CNC Programming → VMC Setup → Machining → Inspection Candidates with solid practical knowledge of VMC programming and 3D model conversion are highly preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
