Role Description This is a contract, hybrid Video Editor role based in Mumbai, with the flexibility to perform some work from home.

The Video

Editor will assemble raw footage into polished video content, including promotional films, social media assets, branded content, and short-form or long-form videos. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing and selecting clips, editing sequences, trimming and refining timelines, applying color corrections and grading, and integrating motion graphics or static graphics as required.

Editor will collaborate with directors, producers, and designers to interpret briefs, maintain brand consistency, and ensure timely delivery of projects.



The role also involves managing project files, versioning, and exporting deliverables in appropriate formats while adhering to technical and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Video Editing and Video Production skills, including experience with industry-standard editing software.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual style and quality across projects.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills to create or integrate visual elements, titles, and lower thirds.
- Candidates should have a solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, sound syncing, and visual composition.
- Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work to deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a hybrid setup in Mumbai and coordinating remotely with team members and clients.
- Experience with digital content platforms, social media formats, and various aspect ratios and codecs is beneficial.
- A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
