Job Description
We're growing and looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (India) with solid, hands-on experience in Australian accounting to join our team.
nThe Role
nYou'll work directly with our Australian team to manage bookkeeping, compliance, and reporting tasks for a portfolio of Australian clients across a range of industries. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented CA who wants to build deep expertise in the Australian accounting setting and grow with an expanding practice.
nKey Responsibilities
nPrepare and lodge/support BAS and GST compliance for Australian clients
nManage day-to-day bookkeeping and monthly/quarterly reconciliations in Xero
nPrepare financial statements and management reports
nAssist with payroll processing and compliance (Xero Payroll / STP)
nPerform account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close procedures
nLiaise with the Perth-based team on client queries and deliverables
nSupport ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
nMaintain accurate,



well-documented working papers in line with practice standards
nWhat We're Looking For
nQualified Chartered Accountant (CA) — India
nProven experience working on Australian accounting engagements (essential)
nStrong working knowledge of Australian GST/BAS requirements
nHands-on proficiency with Xero (essential); experience with other Australian bookkeeping/payroll tools is a plus
nSolid understanding of preparing financial statements and reconciliations
nExcellent attention to detail and strong written English communication skills
nAbility to solve problems and find improvements
nAbility to work independently and manage deadlines across a client portfolio
nNice to Have
nExperience with Australian payroll and Single Touch Payroll (STP)
nExposure to other Australian practice software (e.g. Xero Practice Manager, Dext, Hubdoc)
