We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos for YouTube, Instagram, and other social media platforms.

About the Role

As a Video Editor, you'll create both short-form and long-form content that captures attention and keeps viewers engaged. You'll collaborate with the content and creative teams to produce educational, promotional, and brand-focused videos while maintaining a consistent visual identity across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other short-form videos optimized for social media platforms.
- Edit long-form YouTube videos, podcasts, interviews, educational videos, and brand content.
- Create engaging hooks, pacing, transitions, cuts, and storytelling structures to maximize viewer retention.
- Add dynamic captions, titles, text animations, and kinetic typography.
- Enhance videos using sound effects, background music, ambience, and audio transitions.
- Create and integrate basic motion graphics and animations where required.
- Design thumbnails, overlays, lower thirds, callouts, and other graphic elements.
- Perform color correction and basic color grading to maintain a polished visual style.
- Maintain consistency with brand guidelines, fonts, colors, and overall visual identity.
- Adapt videos into different aspect ratios and formats for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other platforms.




- Collaborate with content creators and designers to execute creative concepts and references.
- Stay updated with the latest editing trends, transitions, text styles, and storytelling techniques.

Eligibility Criteria

- 1+ years of experience in video editing or an equivalent level of strong practical experience.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both short-form and long-form editing.
- Excellent understanding of storytelling, pacing, timing, and visual composition.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced creative environment.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects or another motion graphics tool.
- Strong understanding of short-form content editing for social media.
- Expertise in typography, captions, and text animations.
- Good understanding of sound design, sound effects, and audio mixing.
- Knowledge of color theory, color correction, and basic color grading.
- Strong eye for graphic design, visual hierarchy, and aesthetics.
- Ability to take feedback positively and implement revisions efficiently.

Positive to Have

- Experience editing content for YouTube creators, brands, agencies, or influencers.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar design tools.
